First it was Rudy Giuliani trying to get diplomats to pay for their parking tickets. Years have gone by and these foreign diplomats are still flaunting their diplomatic immunity, and are still not paying the parking tickets. The outstanding tickets have gotten so out of hand that NY Senators had tointroduce legislation just to collect the cash.

Now comes new that UN Diplomats owe NYC as much at $18 million in unpaid tickets.

Guess what? Turns out our reps over in jolly ol’ England living out their anglophilic wet dreams are just as bratty when it comes to the Central London congestion toll.

Choudhri’s “abuse of the Internet at the time he is supposed to be performing his job demonstrates his disinterest in the job,” Chancellor Joel Klein said.

Well geez Mister Chancellor. Nothing gets by you, does it? Yeah his job sucks. He works for your lame ass, know nothing Department of Education.

As a fellow work time surfer, I fully support Choudhri and believe he’s got a raw deal for being fired for surfing in the office. A reprimand is sufficient, and maybe banning certain web sites would crack the whip a little. I can’t possible imagine a day at work without the internet. When the connection is down at work, you can hear the cries and nervous breakdowns in the office. Any distaction from doing the mind numbing work is welcomed by me and all my slacker buddies. Here’s hoping the folks who run the internet connection at work do not get wind of this news and decide to take similar actions. I say, if we’re not allowed to surf at work, then we should work less hours, thus giving us more hours to surf at home.

I resolve to do things almost everyday. Getting around to do it is another thing. I have half-baked ideas strewn all over in my brain. Some done halfway and abandoned long ago, while some just linger around until I get around to toss a half assed effort at accomplishing them. Things like blogging, building a portfolio website, submitting photos to agencies, and getting a new job never really get fully done for no better reason than that I was preoccupied with catching up with netflix videos or feeling overwhelmed with so many hobbies that don’t go anywhere.

Well, I’m done admiring others from afar and have resolved to get crackin on all the above and whatever pipedream I come up with tonight.
The following is what I plan to give do this year:
1-frequent blog updates
2-frequent uploads to flickr
3-scuba certification
4-bike another century
5-silk screen my artwork
6-more freelance jobs
7-get a new job
8-and of course, travel more more more!

Sunday mornings offer so much if you wake up (or recover) early enough to enjoy it. Most people are still asleep and you have the place to yourself. You have the potential to do a lot on a Sunday morning, but if you’re like me, you spend it all running errands. Well at least I have the afternoon for a bike ride.
